Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the OvenGleam Brisbane website and your booking of oven, BBQ, range hood or cooktop cleaning services with OvenGleam Brisbane (“OvenGleam”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By requesting a quote, making a booking or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. About these terms

These Terms apply to every quote request, booking and service provided by OvenGleam Brisbane in Brisbane, Queensland. They sit alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information. If you don't agree with these Terms, please don't use our website or services — contact us instead so we can help directly.

2. Quotes & pricing

  • Photo-based quotes are estimates. We provide a fixed price based on the photos, videos and details you provide when you request a quote. This price is confirmed with you before any work begins.
  • No call-out fee. There's no charge for requesting a quote or for us confirming a price with you — you only pay for completed work you've agreed to.
  • Final pricemay change if the actual condition or size of the appliance differs materially from what was shown or described (for example undisclosed damage, additional appliances, or significantly heavier grease build-up than the photos indicated). We'll always let you know and get your agreement before doing any additional work or charging a different price.

3. Bookings & cancellations

  • A booking is confirmed once we've agreed a fixed price and a time with you.
  • Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel — we ask for at least 24 hours' notice where possible so we can offer the time to another customer.
  • We'll always try to reschedule around you; repeated late cancellations or no-shows may incur a reasonable fee to cover the technician's time, which we'll tell you about upfront.

4. The sparkle guarantee

Every clean is backed by our sparkle guarantee. If you're not completely happy with the result, let us know within a reasonable time of the job (we suggest within 48 hours) and we'll come back to make it right at no extra cost. The guarantee covers the standard of cleaning carried out and doesn't cover pre-existing damage, wear, discolouration or defects in the appliance itself that cleaning cannot fix.

5. Your responsibilities

When you book with us, please:

  • Give us safe and reasonable access to the appliance and the area around it at the agreed time.
  • Make sure the oven, BBQ or appliance is switched off and reasonably cool before we arrive.
  • Let us know about anything relevant to the job — for example existing damage, a pilot light that needs relighting, or anything fragile nearby.
  • Provide accurate contact and address details so we can reach you and get to the right location.

6. Liability

We carry out all work with reasonable care and skill, using technicians who are insured and, where applicable, police-checked. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We're not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear or defects in your appliance that we didn't cause.
  • We're not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from a booking, except where that liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If something goes wrong that we are responsible for, please contact us so we can put it right — most issues are resolved quickly under our sparkle guarantee.

7. Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work unless we've agreed otherwise with you in writing. We accept the payment methods shown at the time of booking or on the day. Prices include GST where applicable.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and both you and OvenGleam Brisbane submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
