Privacy Policy

Effective date: 7 July 2026

Draft — to be reviewed by a solicitor before launch. This page is a starting template only and does not constitute legal advice. It must be reviewed, and where necessary amended, by a qualified solicitor before OvenGleam Brisbane relies on it for a real launch.

OvenGleam Brisbane (“OvenGleam”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides oven, BBQ, range hood and cooktop cleaning services in Brisbane. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you request a quote or book a clean, how we use and store it, and the choices and rights you have. By submitting a quote request or booking a service with us, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information we collect

  • Contact details — your name, phone number and email address, so we can prepare your quote and get in touch about it.
  • Address & suburb — the location of the job, so we can confirm we service your area and provide an accurate price.
  • Photos and video— images or short videos of the appliance you'd like cleaned, which we use to assess its condition and generate a fixed price before we book anything in.
  • Consent choices— whether you've opted in to receive marketing updates by SMS or email, recorded when you submit our quote form.
  • Website usage information — general technical information such as browser type, device and pages viewed, collected automatically when you use this website (for example via analytics tools), to help us understand and improve how the site is used.

2. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Prepare and send you an accurate, fixed-price quote based on the details and photos you provide.
  • Contact you to confirm, schedule or follow up on your enquiry or booking.
  • Carry out the cleaning service you've booked, including any access or scheduling details you've given us.
  • Send you marketing updates, offers and reminders — but only if you've opted in on our quote form. You can opt out at any time (see “Your rights” below).
  • Maintain our business records, meet legal and accounting obligations, and improve our services and website.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Who we share it with

To provide the service you've requested, your enquiry and job details (including your contact details, address and any photos you've provided) may be shared with:

  • OvenGleam Brisbane staff and technicians who need the information to quote, schedule or carry out your job; and
  • a vetted local service partner, where your enquiry is instead carried out — or you are contacted about the work — by a trusted partner business operating in your area on our behalf or within our network.

We only share what's needed to quote, schedule and complete the work you've asked about. We don't sell your information to third parties, and we don't share it for a partner's own unrelated marketing purposes without your consent. Where a local service partner is involved, they are required to handle your information in a manner consistent with this policy.

We may also share information where required by law, to protect our legal rights, or with service providers who help us run our business (for example hosting, email or SMS delivery, and payment processing) under confidentiality obligations.

4. Storage & security

We store your information on secure, reputable third-party systems (such as our website host, and our form and email providers) and take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect it from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and while we work to protect your information, we can't guarantee absolute security. We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law.

5. Your rights

You can:

  • Ask us what personal information we hold about you and request a copy (access).
  • Ask us to correct any information that is inaccurate or out of date (correction).
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time — reply “STOP” to an SMS, use the unsubscribe link in an email, or contact us directly.
  • Ask us to delete your personal information, subject to any legal or legitimate business reasons we may need to retain it (for example financial records).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date above shows when it was last updated. We encourage you to check back periodically.
